Alright, here is a bit of background on my 2001.5 Imola B5 S4.  Bought this in October 2013 from a good friend in Cincinnati. It was already a "Stage 3" car and I drove it until I snapped a timing belt tensioner in March of 2014. this put the car off the road while I had the engine rebuilt using a 2004 A6 BEL bottom end with 69k on it and freshly rebuilt 2.8L heads with minor smoothing/ gasket match on them. Currently tracking down little things like a new tune to make everything play well together.  Plans include new suspension setup to make it handle more flat. After that, more power and stuff because I want to see 200 mph.

What intake/exhuast tape is that?

[]Kevin Madison

That's what I thought until the pedal went all squishy after a short run in the twisties and I asked for a bit slower corner entry. Needless to say the car got a heavy steering input and a slammed downshift attempt at engine braking.

Meh... Brakes are overrated!

[]Kevin Madison

I would love to drive out there and run it. Need to dial a few more things before I run that level of competition. Suspension and brakes being the two priorities. Stopping first of course.

I hear the Silver State Classic calling you.
