Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? I have grown up around FWD SR20's. Even as a kid in the late 90's I remember riding in the ones my dad used to own. This particular SE-R was in my family for a very long time. The previous owner is a very good friend of my dad who owned the car from the late 90's. My dad went through his fair share of FWD SR20's and back in 2008 is when my dad purchased the car from him with the sole purpose of it to be my first car. I always loved the rare "Royal Blue Pearl" color the car came in. Due to its purple appearance, the name "Barney" was given to the car since it was first acquired. Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start,  what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? When I first acquired Barney, it was a very well sorted street/track car setup for road racing. It was a naturally aspirated SR20 at the time with JWT S4 cams, basic bolt ons and a JWT ECU. It pretty much a standard setup for a early 2000's FWD SR20. With all of those modifications, the car put out a healthy 156WHP. Aside from the go-fast-bits, the car came with majority of the suspension bits it has now aside from a few things. I then turbo'd that motor with a common Avenir T25 Setup and then blew that motor a year or 2 later. I then swapped in a newer SR20DET with a GT25R and it has been running strong since.  ...To be continued Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? What are you planning next? What’s been the biggest challenge with this build?
