What made you choose this particular product?
Price. In retrospect it wasn't a good pick for a rotary application. Lack of water cooling didn't let it live very long
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
More power, better reliability than the stock twin turbo system.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Install wasn't difficult. Get your turbo clocked properly on the bench, make sure everything's tight. You won't be able to access all of the housing bolts on the car necessarily. Hard lines are highly recommended for oil and drain lines. Don't trust braided lines.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Good power, good response. Postmortem after failure revealed some problems with the bearings that contributed to failure.
Any additional comments?
Get something that has water cooling if you want it to last. My Garrett unit with water cooling cost about the same money as this Precision turbo.
