hope to be at the san carlos car show this weekend - still unconfirmed

        []Ernie Szots

        So clean.

        []Michael Dalpoggetto

thanks earnie - its better in person - every inch of rubber and hardware has been either replaced or upgraded with OEM - very little after market on original replacements - obviously some aftermarket to make improvements

        []Ernie Szots

The care and attention to detail really do show, even in the pictures.

        []Lawrence Guerrero

Gorgeous! Hope I see you around the peninsula some time.

        []Aaron Williams

        []Michael Dalpoggetto

Amir look at the details in vehicle history and you'll see the work done and source. Its 100% outsourced and very expensive. I was always torn on which way to go as well and this was the compromise. 1 car that had both.

        []Amir Williams

Did you do the work by yourself? or did you got it done from professionals? Do you happen to have some kind of data chat or info details about how you completed your project? I mean can you give me some kind of guidelines for the project. I am doing this first time, and I don't have any prior experience for this kind of job!!

        []Amir Williams

Thank you Mic, I know it's a hard job to restore these iconic beauties. But you have done a great job. As if you have seen my two project Zs. I am strugling between make one into stock and the other to a hot rod? What do you suggess? I have an appointment on Tuesday with a great bodyshop owner. He is coming to my house to give me his idea and quote. Lets see how it goes.

        []JP Tan

        What a beautiful car!

        []Michael Dalpoggetto

Amir - its a modified full restoration. I have restored all parts, upgraded everything Datsun did in low quality, and have/am modestly modernizing a lot of out dated mechanics to maintain the original class of the car. Don't see too many done like this.

        []Amir Williams

Hi Mic. I am impressed with your work. Was this a full resto?

        []Cruisin PSU

what an awesome machine! i love the OEM+ look

        []Joseph Frascati

I love this. I love your respect for these great little cars

        []Michael Dalpoggetto

Your welcome. It was a duplicate to specs section.

        []Andrew Johnson

Hi Michael, super clean 240Z, looks like you could eat off the engine! Wanted to give you a heads up that with your help we realized we didn't have a proper character limit on the Trim field for the vehicle titles. This space should be just for a short vehicle trim level rather than a long list of parts. Ideally the parts are entered individually in the Parts section so that others can see exactly where you got them, how you installed them, etc. We'll be putting a limit on the Trim in the next week so just wanted to make sure you didn't loose anything. It looks like you have this plus more info in the vehicle story so you're probably all set. Thanks for helping us debug Wheelwell!

        []Josel Cobangbang

Nice, I spoke to you briefly, with Richie :) Unfortunately, won't be able to make it to both of those events, but hopefully I can catch the next Z/HistoricJ event :)

        []Michael Dalpoggetto

Yes i was there. Will be at Zcar garage mystery run on mar 15th and at pismo beach on april 11th.

        []Josel Cobangbang

I might remember this Z. Were you at the Bayline Gathering in August?

See whose at the top of the Wheelwell 240Z Leaderboard
