Bought this from a college kid wanting an economic car. Got it for a steal, but never really questioned it. Hot the ground running with modifying the car. Mac cat less xpipe, ford racing 3.73 gears, b&m short throw shifter, cai, steeda underdrive pulleys, and hit the track. Drove all the way to Vegas and was extremely dossapointed when I ran a 15.00. Went home and was racking my brain why it could possibly be so slow. Next move was cams. Went with the he stage 2 550 cams. When I started the teardown I found out quick why it was so slow and also why I got the car so cheap. After running the pn on the heads I found out it had a 97 crown Victoria npi motor. So I found an 04 pi motor with a seized bottom end. Pulled the heads and had them resurfaced and cleaned up. Had the car dyno tuned and put down 301/310. Went to the track and ran a 13.8. Went for a second run and unfortunately the tired crown vic motor decided the spin a bearing and that was the end of my GT
