Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? I was looking for a project car that preferably had some modification already done to it. I intend to keep it for a long time, so the shape of the exterior was very important to me. Most MR2s in the upper midwest are beginning to rust out; finding a clean car was a nice find. Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start,  what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? Right now, I have left the car mostly the same from the previous owner. I went through the interior and replaced panels and had a custom shift boot sewed. There are quite a few small problems with the car. Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? The 17inch 255's on the back are definitely great at keeping the car on the road. The wheels make the car appear much more aggressive than in stock form. I also appreciate the A pillar boost gauge. What are you planning next? I have to finish the LED headlight conversion that has been put on hold while I finish the garage the car is being stored in. What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? Locating the root of multiple small electrical / engine problems. There are tons of issues with the alarm system, lights, and other issues that I am about halfway done fixing.
