WOW! I absolutely love that color. Such an awesome car. What tips would you give to someone looking to buy an S4?

Make sure the timing belt has a record for being changed; listen for signs of failing turbos, especially on modified cars with OEM turbos; the '01.5 cars have the updated badges and ESP, but more importantly, wider diameter oil lines to the turbos. These cars are less prone to turbo failure.

Also, be familiar with VAG-COM diagnostic tools because these cars can get a bit expensive to deal with due to their tendency to throw codes and go into limp mode. I find that almost every time I throw a code and go into limp mode that it is a simple repair.

I could go on but that's a good opener and if it doesn't scare you off, these cars are a blast! I am on my second one (I foolishly sold the first one in a bid to be responsible) and I couldn't be happier with my car.
