Picked this beauty up in January of 2016 for $1500 with a "low compression" rotary engine. Whether or not that was true, I didn't care, I wanted the car to be a blank slate for me and all I cared about was the fact that it did not run. So I commenced my rotary engine replacement and, 2 months later, the engine is out and completely stripped down. I have big plans for this car, stuff that I can't even put in the build list, and this car is the perfect platform for everything I want. After 5 months of owning the car, the new engine is in (I say "new" but it's really a rebuilt one from a different car as the original one had a spun bearing) and bugs are still being ironed out but she's very close to "completion" (as if that's possible). I've driven it for a total of 4 miles and I absolutely can not wait to get on some windy roads. Someone asked me why I didn't just buy a new car with the money I've spent and my response was "It pretty much is new... with some better modifications :D" https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZs2QP1YnDqryCCTlxRzxEw

How much did it cost to rebuild the engine? if you don't mind me asking

The rebuilt engine ran me $2880 which included shipping if I remember correctly.
