What made you choose this particular product?
PnP packaging but I really had to come to terms with that price they want.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I had not done any research on such things and this was the only plug-n-play I could find. I was convinced that retrofits were messy back then but I've learned my lesson!
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Being that it's an NA with functioning pop-lights; Installation time(s) will/can greatly vary much longer than what Dapper estimates if you do the job right (i.e; adjusting the bucket-lid height once everything is installed back in place, neatly routing the wires and making sure they clear any pinch points and places that would allow water to pool, etc)
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Initially, I only gave 2/5 because the projectors themselves were not anchored to the housings securely. What this means is, over the course of time (or excessively turbulent roads) the projectors will clock/twist themselves in place. This causes your crisp cutoff to teeter at ither corner and blind oncoming traffic as if your highs were active. I fixed the problem by levelling them as best I could then used a heat tolerant liquid nails and silicon sealant, mixed like JB Weld and lathered it on the back of the projectors. This made the projector housings stay put and no longer twist over bumps. This, to me, is unacceptable for something with such a high price tag.
Any additional comments?
Remember my motto? RESEARCH! I could have gotten projectors and HID system for much cheaper than what they charged me for (400-ish!!!)
