Pulled the automatic transmission today. I started with the shifter, brake pedal, and driver's seat (to make room and I dropped a bolt under it that couldn't be retrieved). Pulled the exhaust (what's left of it after the last owner cut it right after the catalytic converter). Then I drained the transmission and pulled the front driveshaft and carrier bearing. Then I supported the transmission, dropped the rear support, unbolted the braces on either side, and finally the bell housing bolts. I had to hack saw the transmission cooler lines because the bolts were so seized, but I don't need them anymore anyway.
