In part II of EP. 5, the manifold is ported & polished. The stepped casting is removed which will allow smoother airflow. This means more power and faster acceleration. I also show a method for closing the holes left behind when removing the VTCS shaft. I don't recommend it but it has been done with success by many Protege owners with no reported problems. The holes can be left open also.....all but two. The left an right outer two MUST be closed or a large vacuum leak will occur. Any questions? Comments?
