VEHICLE STORY

This MKVI starts where my MKV ended. My MKV got rear ended in 2015 and the damage was estimated @ over $12,000. So it got totaled out. I was completely heartbroken. Luckily I found this MKVI that was already a full APR Stage 2+! It was a love hate relationship at first. The common water pump leak happened, got the recall done and it still leaked! But it was the dealers fault, the seal wasn't properly seated smh. But anyway this car has come a little way since I first got it. Just switched to Cobb from APR and the difference is night and day! My immediate future plans for the car are an S3 oem intercooler with a Forge Twintercooler, a bigger turbo, and finally suspension and tires. Distant future plans are a fully built motor so I could take a shot at the MKVI GTI record 1/4 mile time! Stay tuned!

So I FINALLY Cobb Protuned my GTI and I have to say so far it completely beats the piss out of APR

To be honest installation is pretty straight forward. BUT in my case, it was an absolute bastard! M

After running APR Stage 2+ for 3 years now, I'm making the switch to Cobb. With the intake manifold

Awesome! Lets us know how it goes

Will do bro. I'll put up a dyno sheet to compare APR's Stage 2+ and Cobb's Protune.
