I've had my car since December 30, 2012. I bought it from subaru of Ontario after going through 3 dealerships trying to get one for over 5 months. I initially wanted the FRS but was swayed by the reviews on motor trend and car and driver. I was addicted to watching Initial D on Netflix and learned about the history of the AE86 and naturally had to have the successor. The looks combined with the history and the cars design (low weight, center of gravity, balance) made me obsess about this car for months. Daily checking Google for news on the GT86, toyota 86, subaru brz, and scion frs like a mad man.  I met Valley 86 crew and they introduced me to Irvine 86. I eventually found my family with Southbay86 and the rest is history. I actually started enjoying my life more after getting this car. I've opened my self up to a whole new world of cars I have never known. Track days and canyon days filled with restaurant visits with a caravan of matching cars and other legendary Japanese beasts enjoying the road. Enjoying family. My only mods are tints, vinyl wrap, jdm sidemarkers, Led lights interior and exterior, beatsonic spoiler and antenna, back up camera, front license plate, tablet mount for interior.  I plan to get Tires, wheels, brakes, coil overs, heated racing seats, steering wheel, short shifter,Oem Audio,armrest,supercharger,intake/exhaust. But I might just trade my car in if they make a new one the is lighter and faster stock. Who knows. Until then I will be cruising.
