I have had 11 various Supras thru the years But my white 88 i can say ive had the longest at 13 years. at one point in time i had her pushing a respectable 680hp out of the stock block 7m for 2 years before a failed injector and some impatient repairing ended the engines life. She sat for years off and on while i focused on the plethora of other hobbies i have a taste for...and building other peoples projects, various business ventures and life in general keeping me from really working on her....and some good old lazy half sick of it procrastination :O It took some unfortunate events and a wife who basically was fed up of my working on other peoples (mostly unappreciative people with no real clue mind you) to get me in the mood to finally build her back up. This will probably a LONG build post as there is alot done, ALL of which has been done personally with my own 2 hands from the machining, body, paint, anodizing, to the wiring ect. NOTHING on this car was done by some other shop or person, besides my wife and a couple friends occasionally helping sand or disassembling some part here and there. i can be an OCD asshole when it comes to the way things are done and its sometimes better off i do it alone anyways...i work better usually left to my own devices. So for the gist of the build..i like the 7m, i like the torque, i honestly like the design and love the growling sound of it. IMHO the 7m is a builders/fabricators engine. the jz series are like duplo blocks compared to the 7m being a nice technic lego set. (that being said im guilty as well as i have picked up a 2jz to swap into our FRS...but thats a different build ) The pictures will speak better than i can for the majority of the build, needless to say there are alot of custom pieces and modifications done to body, chassis, engine. as time goes i will try to add a bit more detail to how/why i did things the way i did ect ect..
