I had originally picked this up as my first car back in 2015. It was a $700 Craigslist Special that was in horrible shape. Oil leaks, coolant leaks, and the original 020 5spd with over 280k was on its way out.

Three years later, it's had a nearly front-to-back rework done. An AWW 1.8t and a diesel-ratio 02A move the car along at breakneck speed, the interior features leather seats and door cards (with manual windows!) along with functioning A/C and a modest Kenwood sound system.

There's a long way to go with this car, though. A full repaint is in the works, using the original Silver Suede Metallic, along with a Euro front bumper and fenders. A set of body-color side skirts and fender flares should complete the visual modifications, finalzing my vision of 'what-if'.
