After spinning out my fit and totaling it against a guard rail due to unfamiliarity with tires.  I decided it was time for a change in our cars since I had the opportunity to.  I got lucky and found this AP2 with 140k miles which I could afford and had a good maintenance history with a single owner and was not raced. I decided part of what went wrong with the fit was my attitude that the fit was this underdog vehicle that I had to work hard and test a lot to tune it to be the best it could to get it to drive faster and the more mods I had the higher this expectation.  So the s2000 is remaining stock.  There's a lot more for the s2000 stock to give then the fit had.  It also proved quite comfortable on my 1000 mile road trip the day after I bought it haha. It's took 8 Autocrosses and some new tires to really get the hang of the car.  Now I've done 13 Autocrosses and it's a blast.  Not an easy car to drive fast but so rewarding!
