VEHICLE STORY

Unfortunately the fit is deceased :(.  The s2000 is my new car :). I built an FSAE car in college, but it didn't take long for me to get the need to race again. So I have taken up the task of learning to autocross and building up my car for STF at the moment bit by bit, Day by day. I've done most of the mods I plan to do, but the car is laughably fun to drive even if it is anemic on power, but lightweight with a short wheelbase makes it a real corner carver.

My Fit was actually more fun to drive on the street than the s2000. But the fit is not a car that wants to get up and go

[]Robert Hopkins

the 2015 Fit is definitely nicer on the inside then previous fits and it comes with a bigger front bar stock. So if you buy some nice tires, a rear bar, and camber bolts for the front you will have a fairly peppy feeling car that turns in well below the limit.

Actually the new fit is a DOHC!

Yeah just have fun is correct. I live in LA fairly close to all the mountain roads. I even drive up and down the mountains every once in a while in my civic. I can feel the leaning and under steer from the soft suspensions and soft tires. Instead of modifying my sedan I rather have something with a radio in it already. (More modern) still being spacious for my hobbies and being my everyday ride. Sounds like I can't really go wrong with a fit especially for the price. Then again what are my other options on a four door car with potential?

[]Robert Hopkins

It depends are you just trying to have fun? Or are you trying to be 1st place at an event.

[]Kenny Duarte

Was it worth modifying it ? I'm thinking about selling my 02 civic to get a 2015 fit.
