Went to the TAMSCC Meet last night tons of fun
Love local meets, always fun
Was a good turnout!
What's everyones favorite type of racing?
does go cart racing count?
I say yes!
I am quite great at that, especially at hitting other peoples carts when i am not suppose to
Do any of you have experience in rushing into a car purchase and ending up wishing you had waited f
Glad I dodged this bullet when I was buying the s2k- I started to lose hope, and almost settled for a 350z. I like those cars, but not nearly as much as my s2k.
I don't really tend to have that problem, as I've learned I really fall in love with whatever car I have pretty easily. LolAlso, I only tend to look at stuff that would be fun to drive anyway, so the compromise is never really Prius instead of Miata.
Thoughts on a loaded 2018 mustang GT VS used GT350?
Gt350 all the way! I'm all about trying to scoop up the most uber trim level version of a car possible, my feeling is you are getting the best possible version of that car and that it will also translate to better retention of value.
not a huge fan of the way the new mustang looks so I'd go so the the get with the gt350
Should I sell the focus and get a 2013-2014 Mustang GT or keep it as a daily and by an NA or NB mia
It honestly depends on your driving habits. If you want more attitude on your commute and don’t mind the gas mileage, get the Mustang, as a V8 rumble is a glorious thing (though I wouldn’t want pre-2015, I’ve heard that the IRS makes the ride much more civilized). If you want a car you can track/autocross, I like the mentality of “Don’t race your paycheck.” If you still have the Focus to get you to work on Monday, having something break on the Miata during a fun drive over the weekend might be less panic-inducing. I lean more towards keeping the Focus and getting a Miata, personally. You don’t have to be precious with it, it’ll be reliable, and while it’s pretty easy to add some power to a car that’s lacking, it is really hard to make a car as eager and chuckable as the Miata is. Weight is the enemy! For a bit of a wild card, you could always consider an 86 chassis (be sure to fix the torque dip) or a Fiesta ST, too.
Get a Miata. Gonna be much more enjoyable than the Mustang. While the mustang is an awesome daily I think it'll leave you wanting. It will be comfy enough to satisfy the daily requirement but any car guy will feel bored without something a little more go-kart in my opinion unless you're a power only guy.
But the Miata - you will have so much more fun with a project car and a reliable daily.
Do you leave car meets often?
Yeah, but it add an element of surprise leaving
Get a mustang so I can continue to live vicariously through my Wheelwell friends. :')
Hopefully I'll get one and you can enjoy it through Wheelwell
MIATA! I really enjoyed my Miata when I had it, such a fun and nimble car!
I'd say sell the focus but I wouldn't wish that car on anyone knowing what it's been through lol
I think you need a mustang in your life, just because I know you lol.
Buying a project car with a friend thoughts? I'm afraid of ruining a friendship over a couple bucks
Gotta find the right kind of person for something like this. Can either be a great time, or a nightmare lol
Looking at getting some new wheels for the focus any suggestions? #newmod #fordracing
Soo many options. Depends on the look/purpose you're going for.
