"Your truck is smelly, you should get a new one." That's pretty much how it started. At first I just needed a winter beater, so I bought a 94 Ford Ranger with over 200k miles on it, along with just about as many dents dings and rust spots as you can imagine.  Despite a lot of work and fun, as it is said, "you can't polish a turd."  And so the wife (princess) couldn't stand riding in it.  When she said I should get a newer truck, who was I to argue? Since the family was growing, I needed to fit all of us in the truck during the winter.  And so, I found an attractive F150.  Picked her up with 145k miles on her, which is a lot, but the interior and body were super clean, and so the wife (princess) will be happy.  And a happy wife means a happy life... especially when you add offroad tires.  And suspension.  And tow hooks.  And... etc.
