My goal is to make a fun and inexpensive autocross / daily beater. Microsquirt ECU soon to come. Along with rear mount turbo setup. 

I've successfully sprayed a 50 shot of nitrous into the stock airbox. The MAF and the stock tune compensate very well and AFR shoots right down and stays in the 12s. 

The custom diffuser ring I made cools the incoming air and evaporates the nitrous. It does not freeze the MAF. I have done the math and the extra oxygen is properly measured by the Mass Airflow Sensor.
