Shop Wheels & Tires ModsBought this '89 SHO from the original owner in 2001 with ~130,000 miles for $2,150. It has gone through many phases over the years: 1. Stock 3.0L with nitrous (55 shot) 2. Stock 3.2L with nitrous (75 shot), later with an Eaton M90 supercharger 3. Forged low-compression 3.2L (turbo build fell through) 4. Stock 3.0L (Vortech supercharger kit on the shelf) Weight reduction: Fiberglass hood, insulation has been removed throughout (carpet was reinstalled to keep stock appearance), trunk has been gutted, A/C system deleted, stereo/wiring deleted, cruise control deleted. The chassis is a little twitchy, but the Quaife differential and suspension means you point and shoot with zero understeer. I've been through a lot with this car and plan on never selling it.
