I bought this 1st owner car off of my mentor's girlfriend back when I was a teen. She had named the car "Wanda" and it just stuck with me all these years. I commuted to school and spend almost every night going to the mall, screwing around in the parking lot and the state forest.  I eventually started doing autocross and other activities with this E36. I ran it hard on a regular basis, but took care of her for a long time. Eventually she was keyed, dented, and damaged. At this point I started to gain the special skill of not giving a fuck. I keep everything mechanically sound and stopped worrying about it being perfect. Many roadtrips, offroading adventures, and other shenanigans later she's gained some battle scars. In return for this constant abuse has been lasting memories with many friends. One in which involved ejecting a friend from the car unintentionally and following a Jeep down a trail. It's the last of the OG cars in my long time group of friends. She still runs strong with plenty of quirks, but as of April 2015 she is being "retired" in favor of my newest car purchase. Something I haven't done in nearly a decade. With 180,200 miles on the odometer and having purchased it with 70,000 it's been the most loyal and reliable part of my life. This E36's days on the road may be number although it could easily go well past 200k, it will be used in some cheap car racing at local tracks once I work out the details.  I hope to make continued memories with this car on a racetrack soon!
