My RX7 started as a love hate college project car experience. The stock 13b rotary engine was acting crazy one day by bucking and poping everywhere I went. I tried everything to make my car run better but to no avail. Finally it quit and I was heart broken. I found that rotor 2 let go an apex seal, no doubt to the lack of fuel going into the combustion chamber. At this point I was going to get rid of the car, until I talked with one of my friends. He swapped an s2 rb25det engine in his s14 kouki. He gave me a ride in his stock rb2 powered 240 and I was hooked. The power was decent but that sound was what I wanted. So I saved and got the rb neo motor since everyone raves over that engine. I commissioned, local speed shop, Midnight Auto in Huntsville Alabama to install the motor. Though it was a long process for them it turned out to be a sweet success. I'm forever grateful for Dustin and Williams services. Besides installing the intake manifold the engine is tuning under stock power and boost. I want to upgrade the stock turbo or go with a turbo that can make around 500hp. For now the stock power is fine, I just want to do things the right way and install coilovers, and wheels that can hold more tire before putting more tire. So for the car runs well, like all project cars it needs more and more work. I'm just grateful that I was able to make a heartbreaking situation into and labor of love. Much respect to all who go through the same thing when building I stead of buying. Be blessed everyone! Shawn Alexander
