AFE Filters 51-76009 - Momentum GT Pro Dry S Air Intake System

About this product

This Momentum GT intake system was designed around the largest filter possible to allow maximum performance and filtration. This cone filter has a large (6-3/4" x 4-3/4") oval flange and is 9" tall with an inverted top. The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze oiled media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane frame for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene. A urethane plug is also included if you wish to block off the auxiliary air inlet. This system uses a high quality plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. This tube has a built-in resonance chamber to catch un-wanted air intake noises.

Yes, I was thinking of Dinan but aFe was just more my style.

It was quite easy, just make sure your stock intake boot is angled correctly or it won’t fit correctly until you adjust that first.

Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

It was more than I could of expected, the sound the feel, I enjoy every moment.

It was a great brand and the reviews were great, plus it was very enclosed and had a port for headlight intake option similar to the hellcat.

More horsepower, more air flow, cooler air

Very simple, as easy as any manufacturer can make it.

Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

Yes, I am currently working on the numbers but much better response time and cooler air intake temperatures are now 6-10 degrees hotter then atmosphere. As compared to stock where temperatures were 20-30 degrees higher then atmosphere.
