What made you choose this particular product?
Easier to come by than Koni's
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
No. I wanted Koni, but these were cheaper.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Disappointed. Shocks often crash over bumps, hitting the bump stocks.
Any additional comments?
Get Koni's for an E34

What made you choose this particular product?
Managed to hit a hump back bridge, whilst driving ‘progressively’ 😂 popped both front shocks
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Real easy to install, just get the car in the air
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Met and exceeded
Any additional comments?
The ride and handling with these is fantastic!!

What made you choose this particular product?
Installed Bilstein B6 shocks on a Chrysler Aspen and they changed the ride of that lumbering beast so much on their own. I felt confident in getting them for the Mustang after being on the fence about which brand go get for awhile.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I considered adjustables from koni and rtr, but heard many enthusiasts found even on the firmest setting they were too soft for hard driving. Everyone has a different perspective though. Many said the Bilsteins were very firm and my experience with the Aspen on B6 shocks seemed consistent with that.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Very easy to install. Needs a 7mm (IIRC) hex socket to hold the shaft from the top as you tighen/loosen the nut. Use a spring compressor, install the strut mount, and slowly uncompress the spring while aligning the spring ends in the perches.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Just awesome. Paired with BMR handling springs. Flat, neutral ride.
Any additional comments?
It seems I got the last pair available in Canada (according to a distributor) during spring 2018. Apparently more will come in August 2018. I found the last two on Amazon.ca and last I checked amazon.com had a few in the US.

What made you choose this particular product?
I have always liked Bilstein’s products and seeing as they had a leveling strut kit, I decided to go for it.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
No, I have used their shocks before. I did consider brands such as King or Fox OEM series, but they are too expensive for a college kid budget.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
The rear shocks were in and out. The front shocks took a very long time to install. Give yourself a good 4 hours or longer to get this job done. Due to the suspension geometry, when the shock is leveled to 2”, it is very hard to install.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Works well!
