What made you choose this particular product?
Installed Bilstein B6 shocks on a Chrysler Aspen and they changed the ride so much on their own I felt confident in getting them for the Mustang.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I considered adjustables from koni and rtr, but heard many enthusiasts found even on the firmest setting they were too soft for hard driving. Many said the Bilsteins were very firm and my experience with the Aspen on B6 shocks seemed consistent with that.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Very easy to install. Needs a 5mm (IIRC) hex socket to hold the shaft from the top as you tighen/loosen the nut.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Just awesome. Paired with BMR handling springs. Flat, neutral ride.
Any additional comments?
Rock auto offers them on sale occasionally.

What made you choose this particular product?
I have always liked Bilstein’s products and seeing as they had a leveling strut kit, I decided to go for it.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
No, I have used their shocks before. I did consider brands such as King or Fox OEM series, but they are too expensive for a college kid budget.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
The rear shocks were in and out. The front shocks took a very long time to install. Give yourself a good 4 hours or longer to get this job done. Due to the suspension geometry, when the shock is leveled to 2”, it is very hard to install.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Works well!

What made you choose this particular product?
I wanted stiffer suspension to accompany my lowering springs, and these did the trick.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
I was refreshing my suspension for the first time in the cars life (around 176,000 miles)
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
No different than any other install really. Be sure and get strut top bushings and other things.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Yes
