What made you choose this particular product?
Bilstein and OE are the only options available for EDC equipped cars. Bilsteins are also considerably cheaper than OE and their B6/B8 line is better suited to performance vehicles with lowering springs.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I've ran Bilstein's standard B6 dampers on my 2012 328i with great success. No other brands were in consideration because OE is the only other alternative.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Easy install in my garage by myself with basic hand tools. Take your time. No spring compressor or anything extra was needed.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Performance was far above my blown out 127k mile factory shocks. Toggling the EDC modes makes a noticeable difference in softness. Comfort mode is still very well absorbed. Normal mode is firm, but not harsh. Sport mode is stiff, but also not harsh. It's great to have a usable suspension again! As for handling and track use, I'm now able to get on the throttle earlier and put the power down. Far better than worn out OE dampers and willing to bet these are way better than new OE dampers.

High quality mono-tube shocks with adjustability that makes it perfectly drivable on bumpy roads as well as track.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
No, I have used Bilstein products before on both street and race cars. I looked at several other brands but quality and potential longevity of these coil-overs is what sold me on them.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Yes, straight forward install, just followed the Bilstein instruction in combination with the Volvo installation guide for suspension.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Yes, worked as all bilstein products have in the past.

The system is an adjustable ride system and can be "dialed" in for track or street, as necessary. The "ride" is like riding on rails...The car is a totally different car.

This is the first time I purchased any Bilstein product and am totally impressed.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
I had the system professionally installed, but have learned how to adjust the ride, according to the situation. Once you get use to what works best, for the specific situation, it becomes much easier to find the right setting.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
This product exceeded my expectation. It not only allowed me to lower the car (much better look), but my performance was greatly and vastly improved. I am forever a fan of this system and Bilstein products.
Any additional comments?
In addition to the Bilstein coil-over system it is highly recommendable that other, contributing components be considered. With my car, I also installed GT-3 anti-sway and anti-role support, which works in harmony with the coil-over system and ties the entire effort together. This one combined application made my car more responsive, more aggressive and much more effective.
