What made you choose this particular product?
$250 nzd steal for full a full set.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
No.. Bilsteins are basically only decent standard shock available for evos.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Can install yourself. Rear is direct bolt on for 4-9. Evo 4/5/6 front requires a 2mm shim, spacer or washer at the lower shock mounting to use evo 7/8/9 suspension.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Bilsteins are night and day difference in daily driving quality specially paired with decent spring for evos over the standard spine jarring KYB shocks.
Any additional comments?
It just so happened that evo 4 KYB oem replacement shocks aren't exactly able to be sourced easily outside Japan. Not wanting coilovers due to daily driven and the certification process here in NZ, the Bilsteins made sense aside from anything since you can get them quite easily. Beware too, the ride height is increased 1-2mm on older evos if you reuse your oem springs.

Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Excellent.. Ive had people fall to sleep on the motorway in the back... But handles like a sports car on the B roads a truely amazing shock absorbers coupled with eibach springs and its the best non coilover set up in my book.

What made you choose this particular product?
High quality and simple set up, perfect fitment.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
Yes. I did look at TEIN and Cusco, KW and others. TEIN's Flex Z were out of stock when I was looking. I found these Bilsteins from a forum member who bought them and never installed, so I got a great deal. The more I looked into them, the better they sounded.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Somewhat easy. Installing a full coilover setup takes about 4-6 hours if you have all your tools together and have done your research. Chances are, you will need camber adjustment, so get camber bolts for the fronts, and some adjustable lower control arms for the back, as well as adjustable toe arms. That way, when you get your alignment done, the technician can dial it in perfectly.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
They are a great setup, but at first they were real bouncy. I thought I had set the pre-load incorrectly, but after a few weeks they settled down. It will take a while to get the height set right, but once you get it where you like, it's great.
Any additional comments?
These do not have any damper adjustments, so if you need that, you might need the P16s.
