About this product

Bilstein B6 Performance dampers are a performance upgrade to OE dampers designed to be paired with the OE factory spring. These dampers offer application specific valve settings with a monotube design to bring out the best handling performance of a vehicle. Each damper is rigorously tested for quality that meets or exceeds OE standards. B6 Performance dampers will provide improved safety and handling performance with the added benefit of world-famous Bilstein quality.

Excellent value for a lightweight fully customizable damper with future upgradability (remote reservoir, rebound / compression adjustable shaft, etc).

Considered Koni but Bilstein has better aftermarket support for the end-user to revalve the dampers. Koni only sells parts to authorized Koni rebuilders, but Bilstein sells to the public.

Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?

The ASN series shocks do not include oil or valving. They need to be valved, filled, assembled, and charged with nitrogen by the end user. Not an easy DIY because of all the special tools required, but worth it if you need custom valving and want to revalve them in the future.
