Stiffened yet civilized the ride quality of the truck. These in addition to a torsion twist and add-a-leaf lift make for a very stiff ride, but controllable and good for my taste

Wanted a DCC compatible coilover kit. It was either this or the KW V3 DDCs and pictures of shattered springs (KWs) scared me.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
To break my spine clearly. *ahem*, better handling, adjustable ride height, DCC functionality retention.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Hells no. These struts are powder coated instead of nickel plated like they're supposed to be. The result of this means that they have about a few thousandths over the OEM strut. What this means is that when you spread the knuckle with the spreader bit, it won't be enough to slide the struts in. You'll need to shim the spreader nut with something to get the required clearance.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Yes and no, DCC definitely works still and the handling characteristics are definitely much better at the track. However, in combination with the 034 camber plate, the springs rub on the inside of the wheel well ever so slightly because the springs go from 90mm to 115mm ID back down to 70mm for the perch. It's insane. Also Bilstein was all like "we only designed them for the OEM mount, so fuck off". Well, fuck you Bilstein. Fuck you very much.
Any additional comments?
Anybody reading this should know that there is a workaround, but it'll cost you a bit of time, money, or both. The Tein springs that I've added in this build are to correct this problem because they are tapered from 90mm down to 70mm and they have spring rates from 3kg/mm all the way to 20kg/mm.

First time buying from Bilstein and I considered lowering springs
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Installed my self. Just be careful when removing and re fitting the anti-roll bar drop links. Very easy to round off the 5mm Allen bolt. I’d recommend replacing anyways along with the coilovers. Also if the rear suspension is set on a low setting the bump stops will need to be removed or cut.
