What made you choose this particular product?
Along with the LED upgrade, I needed an effective and simple way to make sure the car electronics could take the LED systems.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Trying to LED flickering and hyper-flashing from LEDs because of CANBUS systems on the car.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
The hardest part was getting the part off the car. The OEM relay, this part would be replacing is under the steering column inside the cabin. Some dash molding needs to come off to get to it alongside temporarily removing a bracket to for a larger relay assembly. Once that is all done the actual part is simple plug-and-play.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
So far so go, this Smart Tap Relay can also be programmable to do things like 'wig-wag' lighting and temporary strobing to solid lighting when coming to a stop.

Yes! They have replaced my DRL for a cleaner look, while the switchback feature retains the turn signal functionality
