About this product

Part #: 8.4102R

Will replace distorted and worn-out original rubber mounts to maintain car body and truck cab to bed alignment. Original rubber mounts are so soft they often crack, distort, and crush so badly they often fall off! And aluminum body mounts are too harsh for street use that they tend to break and cause other components to break.
Energy's specially formulated Hyper-Flex(TM) polyurethane cab and body mounts combine the best qualities of both: they're soft enough for a smooth ride, yet rugged enough for the most demanding road or track.
Most sets have a strong zinc plated steel ring molded into them - for added durability and when the application requires it.

What made you choose this particular product?
Only product available at the time.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
Yes
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
You will need a press and have to remove most of the suspension to install kit.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
It worked great, but they eventually dry up. I am replacing them with the Hardrace hard rubber kit soon. I would not recommend using supplied RTA bushing.

These work very well, I've seen a 2 tenth reduction in my 1/4 mile times over my stock bushings.

What made you choose this particular product?
After noticing that my motor mounts were already on their way out with degraded rubber, I swapped them out to new and threw in the Energy Suspension inserts. Definitely revived the feeling of the car, you can actually feel the revs and idle inside of the cabin. Less movement and shifting of the engine is nothing but good, especially since the QR25DE is prone to vibrations and shaking as is.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I could find no other comparable brands/products for my SpecV, so I went with these. Glad I did, for sure.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
This is an easy enough mod to do by yourself if you have a socket set, plenty of elbow grease, loctite, and determination. Pull the crossmember, insert the inserts, re-install. That is, unless you have to replace the MM's anyway. Then it just requires a bit more patience and elbow grease. Don't forget the blinker fluid, either.

The shift stabilizer bushing is a bitch to get on, had to use a c clamp to get it squished enough to go in.
