Energy Suspension performance polyurethane sway bar bushings and end links offer the greatest improvement in performance among all the products Energy offers. They make a vehicle's sway bar system much more effective like adding a larger, higher performance sway bar! Made of Hyper-Flex(TM) polyurethane that lasts much longer than O.E.M. rubber bushings.

To lessen wheel hop/better throttle response

Better handling, put more power down, lose wheel hop, stiffen front end

Mechanic friend installed for me. Looked easy enough but takes a bit of time

Good mod, makes the hood and interior plastics rattle a bit sometimes. Especially on cold start during winter at high idle

What made you choose this particular product?
After an abundance of research and back and forth went with the urethane over the solid because of price and to gear twords the function of the build
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Improved handling. Refresh and update factory products.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
The best tip I can give to someone installing them is make sure you have help for the reinstallation of the subframe. If you dont have any help keep a stack of cut up 2x4s near by so you can adjust jack placement as you get it up into place. Also another big tip I could give if your doing it yourself set in the upper bushing place the inner sleeve half way and use them as a guide to get the chassis "studs" lined up and then once you've jacked it up all the way set the lower bushings in place and then bolt everything together. Tried it with everything pre-assembled and let's just say a fair share of choice words were heard throughout the neighborhood
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Little to no movement out of the subframe
Any additional comments?
Have help, have help, have help, let's see oh yeah have help

What made you choose this particular product?
familiar with the quality. Inexpensive. Readily available.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
I needed to replace the dry rotted bushings in my front lower control arm. I'm hoping this will tighten up the handling a little bit.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
A bit of a challenge to install. Getting off the lower control arm was fairly straightforward but the bushing was packed in there like concrete. I ended up using a ball joint removal and installation press to press out the bushing. After it was pushed out there was a large amount of rubber remaining in the control arm. I used a Dremel with a wire wheel bit and a sanding bit to remove the remaining rubber. Installing the new bushing to 30 seconds.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Haven't had a chance to drive the car yet. Waiting on several more parts.

What made you choose this particular product?
I used energy suspension bushings on my old GTI and had no issues with them, decided I would try them on this car too.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
This install required a little bit of work. I recommend backing the nuts off from outside in, if you loosen the lower ball joint before backing the nut off you may run into some trouble getting the ball joint out. Make sure you have the right tools before you start this job!!
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
These bushings are really nice, compared to the old worn out bushings I can feel the difference in handling and responsiveness of the car.

What made you choose this particular product?
It is low profile and bolted threaded into the hole that the factory bump stop came out of.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
More clearance for the lowered suspension that I'm going to install.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Extremely easy.
