About this product

Part #: HB141E.650

High Performance Street disc brake pads are legendary for increasing stopping power on street-legal vehicles. Increasing the performance of your vehicle's braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance's HPS braking compound. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have better pedal feel and more consistent performance in a durable brake pad that generates less brake dust.

What made you choose this particular product?
Reviews and price. There's some better reviewed pads but they're more money. At the end of the day it's a daily, not a track car.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
First time running Hawk pads. Did consider other brands, see above.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Pretty easy, a third hand would have been nice to hold the pads in place while putting the caliper back on.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
I would absolutely buy these pads again. More initial bite and progressive pedal. I'll have to see how they hold up to some heat while "spirited driving".

What made you choose this particular product?
I was recomended by a friend. I have tried other compounds and companies but i keep coming back. Hard to argue with what works.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?

Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
less than 10 minutes
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Always, its why i keep coming back to them

What made you choose this particular product?
I found them really cheap and I wanted new pads that were a bit more aggressive than the OEM ones I had on
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
it is personally my first time buying a hawk product but people in my family and my friend group, as well as all over the internet, loved them so I decided to try them out
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
it was really easy to install, same as every brake job
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
it honestly surpassed my expectations, I got the HPSs and not the HPS+s because I didn't know how aggressive the HPS+s would be and I honestly feel like I could have gone with them but the HPSs are more than enough for daily driving and moderate track use, at PBIR I didn't really feel them fading that much with a decent fluid backing it up

What made you choose this particular product?
Price and availability.
Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
I've run them before on other cars.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
Brake pads are easy.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
On the street, they're great, except for an occasional squeal. On the racetrack, they become useless after a few sessions. These are definitely meant for the street, and not the track.
