About this product

Part #: HB497Z.776

High Performance Street disc brake pads are legendary for increasing stopping power on street-legal vehicles. Increasing the performance of your vehicle's braking system is easy when you choose Hawk Performance's HPS braking compound. The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can provide you 20 to 40 percent more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade than most standard replacement pads. Less fade means you will have better pedal feel and more consistent performance in a durable brake pad that generates less brake dust.

Is this your first time buying from this brand? Did you consider other brands?
Yes it’s my first time buying the rotors from this brand..... No I don’t consider other brands
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
From scale 1-10 it’s an 8 it wasn’t that’s easy to install.... Tips is the bolts that holds the caliber the bracket for the breaks and another bolts that holds the rotors I recommend any Scion tC owners 11/16 wrench open and close 14mm sockets and a breaker bar the bolts on the back that holds the rotors spray WD-40 let it sit also lube all of the bolts too from preventing during the future of doing other upgrades
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Yes it meet my expectations it’s stops really well and quick better then the OEM stock
Any additional comments?
For scions owners or ppl who don’t have Scion get a breakers bar lube all the bolts WD-40 if you don’t have a breaker bar an open and close wrench’s it’s a 11/16 if you can’t break it get a hammer and hammer to break the bolts also the rear pistons for the breaks for a 2014 Scion tC you can’t push in the pistons you’ll have to twist the it back in with a vice grip wrench or a needle nose FYI but the front break pistons you’d just push in with the old break or block in front of it pushing it back in with the C-Clamp P.S. is going to be a picture of the rear piston to show what I’m talking about
