Early automotive computers used replaceable PROMs or chips to calibrate the Electronic Control Module (ECM) for a specific engine powertrain and vehicle combination. For $300 it is steep I wish I could be able to control by throttle body but at least the control over the sloppy Transmission in this car it helped out a lot
