The Replay Dash is a stand-alone unit, capable of providing real time display while also storing up to 10 minutes of memory for replay on the dash. The Replay Dash kit includes a wire loom and sensors for engine RPM, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. Sensors for monitoring other function must be purchased as options. UDX dashes are capable of displaying up to 21 different functions. There are five numeric displays, plus the engine RPM sweep bar, on each of the four screen pages. Scrolling from one page to the next is accomplished with the push of a button. The 7.25 in. x 2.62 in. LCD screen is backlit for night time operation. Each dash has output for a shift light, and shift point programming is done right on the screen. Warning lights are located on each side of the display screen. You have the ability to assign these high or low threshold alarms to your choice of monitored functions. The buttons at the bottom of the panel are used to scroll through the screen pages as well as to activate various functions. Additional sensors can be added by using the popular individual V-Net sensor and modules. Overall dimensions of the UDX bezel are 4.0 in. tall and 10.2 in. wide. It will stand out 0.750 in. from the mounting surface. The dash can be mounted against any flat panel which permits a depth of 2 in. behind the mounting surface for clearance of the dash and its rear mounted V-Net cable. The dash weighs a mere 1.3 pounds.

Racepak LLC was founded in 1985 by Spencer Eisenbarth and Ron Armstrong, originally as Racepak and its parent company, Competition Systems, Incorporated (CSI). Both men were engineers with strong backgrounds in electrical and mechanical applications, and both had an interest in motor sports. Through an earlier joint effort aimed at obtaining data for the improvement of the Unlimited Hydroplane that Armstrong was piloting at the time, both men realized the need for onboard data acquisition equipment. Their respective backgrounds qualified them to develop such equipment, but the major task that needed to be overcome was in designing and building a data recorder that could survive in the unfriendly world of race vehicles. That challenge became the initial goal that led to the formation of Competition Systems, Inc. The continued success of Racepak has allowed CSI to grow. In the years that have followed Eisenbarth and Armstrong have quietly guided CSI into a strong presence in many forms of motor sports.
