Rugged Ridge 1-1126 - Swaybar Bushing Kit Rear

About this product

The Rugged Ridge polyurethane rear sway bar bushing kit in red, comes with 19mm sway bar bushings. There has been an ongoing debate about rubber vs. polyurethane as to what is better, it truly depends on how you are using your Jeep. In most cases polyurethane outperforms its rubber counterparts in replacement of bushings and mounts. The products will last longer standing up to road debris, chemicals, oils, compression, and load. They will perform better by removing additional sloppiness in suspension performance due to worn, damaged, or missing bushings. It is however, a little stiffer than rubber.

Very easy to install, Have a long wrench to get to the nut on the other side of the fender.

Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

Yes, Love the new look. Looks a lot better then the stock hook catch.

What made you choose this particular product?

The HUGE stock antenna isn’t ideal for most circumstances especially off-road so a simple and easy solution to that problem is a replacement like this!

What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?

Better for off-road conditions or any other circumstances in which the stock antenna could be compromised.

Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?

Extremely easy and a good fit.

Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

Good bang for the buck! The AM/FM can get a bit finicky but if you don’t use it too much, or at all, it’s nothing to worry about.

Any additional comments?

Improved look over the stock antenna.

After my engine swap I wanted to add some protection to the new radiator and new auto transmission cooler.

a factory looking protection against bugs and debris damaging my radiators

yes. easy. Tips? Measure twice.

Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

Yes. expectations met.

Any additional comments?

It does add some weight to the factory plastic grill.

The price seems a bit steep for plastic cladding but there's no doubt that the Wrangler looks good in it.

What made you choose this particular product?

The fact that I did not have to drill any holes to install the CB antenna in The Cub, and it also provided me with the ability to continue listening to my radio as well.

Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?

It was fairly easy. I did route things a little bit differently than suggested in the instructions because I wanted to make it a cleaner install.

Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?

So far so good. Still need to trim the antenna for the CB radio.
