Russell's wide variety of lightweight aluminum adapter fittings allow for the connection of Russell hose ends to almost any component. Adapters are offered in standard thread, metric thread and pipe thread to fit most popular oil pumps, fuel pumps, fuel filters plus a variety of other common components. To compliment the looks of the hose installation, three finishes are available - ultra-bright Endura, traditional blue anodized or our new black anodized fittings.

It's what the shop had. Also the blue looks cool, even though you'll never see it unless you're working on the bike.

Yes and no respectively. The shop recommended this sort of filter, and it is significantly easier to clean than the previous one that was installed so I went with it.
Was it easy to install? Any installation tips that will help others?
This was also done at a shop. but having done things with fuel lines before this product appears to be just as easy as any other to use.
Once you've had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
So far it's filtering the fuel so.... No complaints yet.
Any additional comments?
I only have 250 miles on this so I will provide an update once I give it a cleaning or replace it.
