StopTech AeroRotor Replacement Kits ARK are designed to replace your vehicle's original factory rotors, while retaining the factory brake calipers. Although the ARK is the same diameter and thickness as the factory rotors, it offers improved cooling, braking, and handling. The directional, floating AeroRotors allow independent expansion of the rotor and hat without "coning," thanks to elongated drive pin holes. ARK components include AeroRotor friction rings with patented internal vane design, pre-assembled to billet aluminum AeroHats with directional stand-offs that optimize cooling airflow. The patented AeroRotor vane design pushes up to 80 percent more air than factory rotors for better cooling and reduced fade on the track. The aircraft-grade aluminum hats and 2-piece AeroRotors are up to 8 pounds lighter than stock rotors, allowing faster acceleration and deceleration, and improved handling. StopTech AeroRotors are available slotted or cross-drilled. These slots or holes allow better dissipation of heat, friction material and debris, assuring that fresh pad material is in contact with the rotor every time the brakes are applied. An optional anti-corrosion, zinc finish is available for customers in cold climates, where salt and chemicals are used to melt snow and ice. The zinc coating also benefits customers who prefer no visible surface rust on the vanes and outer circumference of the rotors. StopTech AeroRotors are 100 percent made in the USA.

What made you choose this particular product?
I wanted an upgrade from stock without going crazy. These seemed like the best balance of performance and economy.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Add more stopping power and replace worn factory parts.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
I had it professionally installed. I don't trust myself with brake work.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
So far they're incredibly effective and still quiet.

What made you choose this particular product?
Looking at Plain vs Slotted vs Drilled vs Drilled and slotted I chose Slotted. They're the most effective choice in braking. They're also vented.
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Improved braking and cooling of the rotors.

What made you choose this particular product?
Good performance for the price, and had people personally recommend as a good balance of cold stopping performance and holding up to high temp braking conditions
What were you trying to accomplish by adding this product?
Old brakes were only able to hold up to less than 5 minutes of hard-driving on mountain backroads before fading and once faded great reduction in stopping power. I was looking for pads to reduce fade while still performing decently when cold while staying under a tight budget.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
No issues with installation, same fit as oem pads.
Once you’ve had a chance to use the product, did it meet your expectations?
Noticeable difference compared to the oem bmw pads. The oem pads certainly perform better when cold where the Stoptech pads needed a few medium to hard stops to get them to operating temp, but they still stopped when cold. The stoptech pads hold up much better under continous braking during hard driving on backroads and rarely faded, but when they did, they still performed almost as good when unfaded, but with additional pedal travel. Overall satisfied with the performance you get for the price.

What made you choose this particular product?
These stainless brake lines were originally put on the car before the brake upgrade was done. They are the upgrade for the rear of the car.
Was it easy install? Any installation tips that will help others?
These were easy to install, and work with the upgraded SRT brake calipers without problem.
