Was tired of the issues I was having with my Genesis Coupe, so I traded it for this. And I couldn't be any happier with it so far.

I originally wanted World Rally Blue, but the dealership didn't have any. White was my second choice (looks even better than the blue in the sun light, yay pearl paint). And they offered me a great deal.

No plans for major mods at the moment. Got an amazing deal on a 5 year warranty, and no need to let that go. I do want an exhaust though. Needs more loud noises. Wheels and more low are next in line.

Nameless muffler delete axle back exhaust
Tail to turn tail light conversion (This, this is something special. It greatly updates the way the tail lights function. I highly recommend to anyone with these cars. And its super easy to install and get running correctly.) Along with removing the halogens bulbs from the tail lights and replacing with LEDs
Tail light and fog tint overlays
Full interior LED conversion
High beam and low beam LED conversion
Purple galaxy badge overlays (these are just cool)
Roof, spoiler and mirrors wrapped gloss black
Rally Armor mudflaps

Obviously none of these are hardcore mods, but I wanted to update and personalize the car to my liking. So sometime in the future some breaks and suspension mods will be in order. And for the time being, while the warranty is still good, I plan on doing nothing in the engine bay.

22,000 Miles :

Cobb Access Port - Stage 1 OTS tune. So easy to install and use and idiot such as myself can do it =D.

Well I just couldn’t resist…. I am still kind of unsure if this break warranty or not, but I went ahead and got a Cobb Access Port. And boy, does it really make a difference. With my current set of mods, which basically leaves the car stock, I am only running the Stage 1 OTS tune from Cobb.

While you can kind of feel the extra boost in power, the biggest improvement is just the refinement. The car used to jitter at low speeds with low throttle usage, now the car moves forward in total smoothness. The throttle mapping is much improved, and it doesn’t feel like you are just giving it 100% at all times. Lastly, and one I wasn’t actually expecting, was the dead spot in the power band that just kind of hits you at 4,500rpms is virtually gone, and the car feels to pull better all the way through the power band. It sort of still looses it in the top end, but the most annoying thing was that dead spot right in the middle of the band. Overall I am super happy with what this has done to the car, and would recommend to anyone.

Update: 25,000 miles

Installed a Perrin Strut Tower Brace. And didn't actually think I would notice anything different, but the front feels a bit stiffer, and the steering is slightly more responsive.
