EJ25 IAG Stage 2 Short Block

I saw this car for sale in August of 2017. It had seen mostly highway miles and was traded in by an older couple that used it to drive to Florida every winter. With hardly any rust and an engine that wasn't driven hard, how could I say no. I plan to do a 2007 STI transmission swap or a SpecB 6 speed swap. With that - TGV deletes, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, turboback, and agressive aero. My vision is a car that's clean, fast, and functional. The Truth.

Engine is knocking, planning on a rebuild with an IAG stage 2 shortblock. Sleeper status?

What is good ladies and gents it's been a while since my last update.

So when the motor was replaced with the new IAG stage 2 block it didn't really make sense to tune it on the automatic transmission. The torque converter was dead. So with that I went full send and the car now has a LGT 5 speed with a stage 2 Competition Clutch and a Kartboy short shifter/bushing combo kit. With my current mods i'm hoping to get around 300HP.
For my second round of tuning I plan to do a new fuel pump, injectors, and a full turbo back. Maybe some big boy aero in the front.

Got a lot of questions as to why I didn't go 6 speed. Used 6 speeds were around $2500 and I found a LGT 5 speed for $500 with the rear diff included. Couldn't say no
