This is Vin Anatra's second e46 m3. Purchased as a ratty, no option car that I knew I wanted to rebuild from the ground up. It is now my perfect blend of street and track. Perfect for a weekend in the canyons or on track at a time attack event. • Tell us the story behind your ride. What made you pick this particular one? Where did you find it? This is the lowest option and lightest model available in the United States. It was cheap and pretty neglected but the perfect base for a project. • Describe the modifications you've made. Where did you start, what’s the most recent mod and what motivated it? Chassis and suspension upgrades were paramount. Started to make the car solid and then started adding power. • Of all the mods you’ve made, which do you think offers the biggest bang for the buck? CAE Shifter is awesome but the VF Engineering blower really makes the car awesome. However, suspension and tires are great bang for your buck. • How did you go about selecting the specific parts for this build? Any installation tips to share? I only wanted the best products on this car so I spared no expense and planned out the build rather than just tossing parts at the car. • What are you planning next? More boost, E85 tune and more track time • What’s been the biggest challenge with this build? It’s a BMW so working on it sucks.
