VEHICLE STORY

The original owner bought it new in California, drove 160k mostly highway miles completely stock. Then sold to at least 1 other owner before ending up in Arizona with me. The car has a few lite mods at the moment. Planned mods are sway bars, suspension, weight reduction, maybe a little engine work, tune, and a full body white vinyl wrap.

FINALLY! Some new photos! The paint has seen better days, but the rest of the car is still great! So $1800 later; some rewiring work, corrected idle RPMs, replacing vital bits and pieces, fixed up AC, and replaced tranny with a new-er one with 98k on it.

Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to pull the plug on the swap. Thanks to the dashcam I had kept inside the car, I found out my mechanic was hooning around in my baby for the past 3 months. It's my daily driver anyway and will soon be used for work as well so I'll just get the tranny fixed up and be done with it. I may have to sell the parts I bought for it or get another shop to do the work. I'll be updating this as this car progresses.

Update: There have been some difficulties not with the build itself but things preventing my mechanic from working on the car. Maybe my babe doesn't like it when another man touches her? Like some bad omen. Haha, the build will have to be delayed, bummer. Hopefully they can get back to work on her in the summer.

Will have up-to-date photos soon once swap is complete and after a few cosmetic mods.
