Saved this base 3000GT from the grave yard! I found the car on craigslist and contacted the owner the day he was moving down south. He had a pick and pull scheduled to pick it up the next day. I told him to hold off and 5 days later it was in my driveway! Car was in a light front end collision and was not running. The previous owner began to part it out so there were parts everywhere and many missing pieces. It supposedly ran good but needed a few parts to turn over like a new battery, sending unit and throttle body (both missing). After a few weeks of scrounging through the local (and not so local) CL listing I managed to get my hands on a super clean fuel tank with a sending unit and a throttle body. A couple of hours and gallons of 91 later and she was running. Everything from there on out will be a journey of making it look good once again, and faster too!
