My 1969 chevelle Malibu was my fathers first car (back in 1969). It has been in the family ever since. I remember riding in the chevelle when it was my grandmothers in the early 80's and thinking it was such a cool car. In 1998 i asked my grandma if I could have the car because I wanted to save it from its current Swiss cheese rusted state. Well, she surprised me by having the paint and body work done on the chevelle and lain after it was mine. Over the years I have been trying to make the chevelle the way I wanted it to be and now it's almost there. I love this car and I would never sell it, it's part of my life, my childhood memories and that's something I could never have with any other vehicle.
