Shop Tools ModsI purchased the vehicle in 2018 with 127k miles on the odo. Shortly after that I was looking up parts and mod and purchased a used APv3. I had to put the OTS map on, because why not...Turbo went about 1,000 miles later and ended up in the shop. Towed it into the shop and purchased a VF52 with billet wheel upgrade, GS catless downpipe and Mishimoto inlet. All that was great for about 3k miles and a protune. So I went and purchased a 15' STI catback and headgasket went in less than 30 miles from install. It was time for truth, build it, or not to build it... I went in and purchased as much as I could to get maximum reliability, so forged internals it was. Had to get new injectors due to the tuner telling me they maxed out on the first tune. Fuel pump had to be ready for E85, cause its gonna happen. After 500 miles break in and a protune I changed oil at 50,250,500,1000,2000 and onto regular 3000 miles. Now the tuner is telling me heat soak is the limiting factor and shortly after the tune the radiator top started pulling away and leaking. So that was next with the trans cooler...Working on lowering it now, PW tmic(verticooler) and slotted t3 rotors. Here we are waiting for the next great thing.
