VEHICLE STORY

Bought the 2007 VW Rabbit in June of 2015, for about $6600 with around 125000 miles on the clock. First few months basically just messed with vinyl wrapping the trim on the interior, went through a Crown Royal bag for a shift boot, and stickers, because every racecar has them, duh. so far have gone through a rear left brake caliper, and replaced the brake pads for the 2nd time last week (around the first of august). I've added a Neuspeed intake, and raceland coilovers, only in the rear, as the stock struts in the front don't want to budge, waiting to get a shop to do it. Have a USP Motorsports testpipe, and waiting to install it until I get new headers, and a cat-back. Also, upgraded to oem GTI wheels (Hufs) and will be replacing the Firehawk Indy's with either Nitto's or Toyo's soon. planning to get a short-runner intake, along with a tune around new year's. Sway-bars should be upgraded to Neuspeed race series by then. Interior-wise, I have a BFI GS.02 weighted shift knob, with a BFI alacantra shift boot, red vinyl on the trim (honestly not digging it much anymore, probably replacing it soon). Will be upgrading to Bride seats in the front before I start going to track days and autocross events in it starting next spring. Basically, planning to make it a versatile lil guy, track worthy, but comfortable on the streets, and not a sight for sore eyes either. Definitely not stancing it. I ain't about that life. Might boost it by the end of next year, who knows. ;)
